Nathan Buckley has given a passionate response to the three-week suspension handed to North Melbourne's Paul Curtis.
The Collingwood great was unable to fully grasp the concept of a sanction for a chase-down tackle.
“I still can't work out how we can legislate against bad luck,” he said on SEN’s Whateley.
“This concept of duty of care, I still can’t get my head around that.
“I don’t know what we are asking our players to do in this game of footy. What are we asking Paul Curtis to do? To release an arm? It happened in a split-second.
“I don’t understand it.”
