Five weeks have passed since our last look at the Free Kick Ladder.
Since then, some sections of the media have taken offence at the standard of umpiring in the game right now.
We know that it is a very difficult sport in which to officiate and we're not here to bad-mouth the umps.
But we are here to deliver the numbers and that is exactly what we have done.

The 2025 Free Kick Ladder - Round 10
Free kick Hawthorn. It’s baaaaaack!
Well, we don’t fully subscribe to that theory, but it is interesting to see the Hawks well clear at the top of the FK standings.
Sam Mitchell’s side has a handy differential of +63 made possible by the most frees in the league of 229.
Second on the standings is Carlton with +28 on the back of 220 frees for narrowly ahead of Essendon on +27 who have played one less game.
Gold Coast (+24) were leading after round five but have dropped away and are now fourth with their fellow Queenslanders, the Brisbane Lions, who are fifth on +18.
Down the bottom, Port Adelaide has been copping the rough end of the stick with a dismal disadvantage of -41.
The second worst differential belongs to bottom-placed West Coast (-35) while second-bottom North Melbourne is next on -32, third-bottom Richmond has -24 (with the fewest frees for in the league) and Fremantle makes up the bottom five on -23.
