Scans confirm season's end for Blues forward
Scans have confirmed the worst for Carlton forward Brodie Kemp, who will miss the rest of the AFL season with a ruptured Achilles.

The 23-year-old went down in the final term of the Blues' clash with West Coast, hitting the ground without contact before being helped off the ground.
Kemp becomes the third Carlton player to be ruled out for the entirety of 2025, with defender Nic Newman and rookie Jagga Smith suffering major injuries during preseason.
Carlton's Harry McKay will also miss at least one week within concussion protocols after his big collision in the first quarter on Saturday.
Outside of the Blues, Collingwood's Jordan De Goey is available for selection ahead of the Pies' Thursday night clash with the Lions.
GWS' Stephen Coniglio and Brent Daniels are both set for a further week on the sidelines as they recover from glute and abdominal injuries respectively.
For the Demons, both Steven May and Kysiah Pickett are a test for their must-win clash with the Fremantle Dockers, however are expected to be available.
