The 36ers are languishing in ninth place, but the return of Harrell should provide a big lift.
“There’s a lot of games left to put ourselves back in a position to play Playoffs, and I think we can do that,” Harrell told Nine News.
“I’ve been ready to get back. I’ve been watching the team and I’m ready to get going.”
Adelaide’s superstar missed three games for his involvement during the altercation at John Cain Arena three weeks ago, and says he’s moved on from it all.
“You take it with a grain of salt and you live and learn,” Harrell said.
“Any situation like that is not a good one, but at the same time I don’t have any regrets from it, as I feel I protected myself as a player and stood up for my team and my organisation.”
With the FIBA break occurring right before Harrell’s suspension commenced, the silver lining for the MVP candidate was that he was able to spend time back in the United States.
“It was a blessing in disguise because I got to go back home and be with my family and be with my kids for Thanksgiving,” he said.
All eyes now turn to Adelaide’s next game against New Zealand as they look to break their four game losing streak.
