Coates Talent League: Lions to dominate draft again as Academy players star

Round 4 of the Coates Talent League saw several non-Victorian teams make their season debut, with a host of young guns boosting their draft stocks.
Brisbane Lions Academy prospect Tyan Prindable was outstanding in their win over the Geelong Falcons.
Prindable racked up a game-high 27 disposals and game-high 11 tackles in a dominant individual display.
Brisbane could also see another ruckman coming their way with 199cm Charlie Hewitt booting two goals and collecting a whopping 21 disposals.
16-year-old Cooper Hodge, the son of Hawks and Lions great Luke, contributed with 13 disposals and six tackles.
After picking up father-son talent Levi Ashcroft last year, the Lions look set for another big draft haul through their Academy.
First-round draft hopeful Rylee McHenry was another standout, starring for the Tasmania Devils with 23 disposals, nine tackles, eight marks and a goal in an influential performance.
The best draft prospects also united again over the weekend, taking on Coburg VFL as part of the AFL Academy.
Geelong Falcons star and potential top 10 pick Josh Lindsay dominated in the AFL Academy’s win, racking up 25 disposals and was awarded best-on-ground honours.
Eastern Rangers midfielder Ollie Greeves, who is the grand-nephew of Geelong legend Carji Greeves, was also among the best with 21 touches.
