Finals fixture: AFL locks in full week one

The AFL has locked in its fixture for week one of the 2025 finals, with the four games scattered across the country.
After the Qualifying Finals were locked in on Monday, fans were made to wait until Wednesday night for the whole week one slate to be locked in following Gold Coast's 95-point win over Essendon which secured them 7th place.
Things begin next Thursday with the Crows hosting the Magpies in what will be a mammoth first Qualifying Final.
The loser then plays a semi-final against the winner of Giants v Hawks, who will meet on next Saturday twilight at ENGIE Stadium.
The second Qualifying Final will be played next Friday night at the MCG between the Cats and Lions.
The loser of that game will face the winner of Dockers v Suns, which is set for next Saturday night in Perth.

Adelaide (1st) v Collingwood (4th) - Adelaide Oval
Second Qualifying Final:Friday September 5, 7:40pm
Geelong (2nd) v Brisbane (3rd) - MCG
First Elimination Final:Saturday September 6, 3:15pm
GWS (5th) v Hawthorn (8th) - ENGIE Stadium
Second Elimination Final:Saturday September 6, 7:35pm
Fremantle (6th) vs Gold Coast (7th) - Optus Stadium
The 2025 AFL Grand Final is set for Saturday, September 27 at the MCG.
