Brisbane captain issued 'please explain' over QF bird-flip
Brisbane co-captain and star midfielder Lachie Neale has been issued a 'please explain' following a bird-flip during last Friday night's Qualifying Final loss to Geelong.
On the receiving end of a range of abuse from travelling fans, Neale was caught flipping the bird at a member of the MCG crowd as he and his side left the ground at half time.

As reported by SEN regular Tom Morris, Neale is expected to accept the general $1000 sanction, with the matter being dealt with outside of the MRO process.
Neale is the latest of a growing list of players to flip the bird, with Harley Reid, Bailey Smith and Jack Ginnivan the most notable to be sanctioned across this season.
The 32-year-old will not feature for the Lions again in 2025, as a calf injury sees the two-time Brownlow Medallist sidelined for the remaining September fixtures.
The Lions will take on the Suns in a finals Q-Clash this Saturday night.
