Tuesday best bets from Luke & Gannon (07/08)
Cam Luke & Mick Gannon are in the hot seat this Tuesday.
The lads have taken a look at Ballarat (synthetic), Kembla Grange & Tamworth to find the Track family a few winners.
See their best bets below: 👇
Cam Luke
BALLARAT (SYNTH)
Race 4 | 10. Shay's Way
Was a tad slow away last start and had to be worked hard to deep on a fast tempo to get where jockey wanted. Sat three deep OSL and faded late and in all fairness was good to run third. Today drawn perfect and as long as isn’t on the back foot out of gates can control the race. There is a little bit of speed so even if it box seats I’ll be happy. Deserves some luck and if it comes, it will win!
Race 6 | 3. All In Vain
Was pretty good last start drastically up in distance (1500-2200m) in a tougher race. Stays at a similar distance here, drawn perfectly to control the race loves the Syntho as we know and it’s gonna be really hard to beat. Tradeworx is the danger at a price. This is easier than last start and will appreciate that but will be a little off the leader so I am sticking with AIV.
KEMBLA GRANGE
Race 3 | 1. O'invincible
Loves the heavy and was pretty good in town last start. Is a 1000m horse and should be able to park right behind the speed. 1.5kg claim is handy and Shae Wilkes is a very good young jockey who will give a perfect steer! Zaru fave drawn badly and although heavy form reads ok all those best runs a while ago now and I think Debussy is a much better chance here!
Race 6 | 12. Entitlement
Rock hard fit and absolutely able to control this race. Was pretty good last start over the 2000m on a good track behind unusual prospect who was in the market yesterday before being a late scratching. Should be able to find the right part of the track in the straight and the Heavy track won’t be a concern. Super Eclipse the only one who can beat it but the fitness edge is to Entitlement and I’m leaning that way.
Race 8 | 6. Barbarossa
New stable for this bloke and the last time we did see him on a heavy track was in the Bailleau when he was only two and a half off Nepotism. Has trialled well, will control the race from the front fairly easily, heavy not an issue as I said, depth of this race severely tested, WINS!

Mick Gannon
BALLARAT (SYNTH)
Race 7 | 7. Into You
Returned in fine order first-up and a repeat of that run has her winning this. She gets the same set up here, remains at the same weight and maps for a soft run in transit.
TAMWORTH
Race 6 | 5. Great Idea
Impressed when breaking his maiden over 1200m. Settling 6L off them at the 600m he showed a strong turn of foot to put his rivals away with ease. The 1400m looks suitable and the booking of Bullock is a huge plus. Expect him to land closer in the run from the better draw and prove too good for his rivals late.
