Race 6 | 7 - Tessa's Choice
Was OK when back and wide in town resuming. This is easier and from that gate hopefully a little closer considering she stays at the 1200m. She’ll be fitter for the run and I think will be hard to beat in this grade. Ignore the 0-2 soft, one was on debut down Flemington straight where she ran well and the other was when she pulled up at end of prep, a toe on the ground won’t be her undoing and I expect her to go very close!
Race 8 | 13 - Tessa's Choice
Been screaming out for further and gets it today. Drawn a lot better than the fave who is clearly the horse to beat but barriers win races. Hit a flat spot at Warracknabeal last start when box seating and then hit the line hard. Has ran well third up and soft track firebrick since debut in unsuitable distance and I expect her to run really well today. Only her and Kiwiesque in my quaddie and I’m siding with barriers win races.
GOULBURN
Race 5 | 3 - Mahsay
I just think she is better than them!! Drawn nicely to be able to keep an eye on the leader (Ronny Rock Art) who is the biggest challenger. This is easier than last start in town and she will appreciate the easier race and the step back to 1300m. Soft track no concern and as long as she doesn’t spot the leader eight lengths in the run she will catch him.
Race 6 | 3 - Spirits Burn Deep
Went too hard last start so a freshen up and back to 1000m helps. Normally runs well fresh and should get a great run in map. Wet going certainly helps this mare and if you go back two starts back she was huge in Highway in town. Claim helps and with plenty of speed she will be perfectly poised to run over the top of the leaders!
WYONG
Race 4 | 2 - Formal
Keeps running well without winning but gets a speed map to suit perfectly today! Will lead without a major issue from that gate and will take a huge amount of running down. Soft track no issue at all and the 2kg claim gives him the advance he needs to break some frustration for the connections.
Race 8 | 3 - Missile Seeker
Little freshen but has trialled well since last seen in a tougher Midway. Can be slow away so hoping he be a tad closer from the nice gate. There is some speed in the race (Hovland, Wealthy Investor) so if he does go back he will still have the chance to run on. Handles all going so even some rain wouldn’t hurt. He will be very hard to beat!

Race 8 | 2 - Top Arctic
Is a tough hardy stayer and has done enough at two runs in to suggest that can run well here, getting to this trip suits and he has been a winner here before.
GOULBURN
Race 2 | 5 - Quein Step
Has been beaten not far at all at both runs and should jump on the bunny here and give a great sight, nice filly with good scope.
WYONG
Race 8 | 3 - Missile Seeker
Can run well here after a let up, his fresh form is good and from the good draw he can run get a sweet run.
MACKAY
Race 3 | 8 - Lollies
Is a sweet horse and showed ability at her only run, she will be better for that and can give this a shake, all the best punters!
