Race 5 | 2. Dashing Duchess
Hasn’t had the best of luck in crucial times last couple so due for some help. This is a lot easier than the Flemington race (and also first up) where she wasn’t far off the winner who is favoured in Australian Cup. Soft track and MV both big ticks. Normally runs well deeper into her prep which gives me confidence with some even lick she will be very close today.
Race 7 | 1. Too Darn Lizzie
Keeps bumping into Treasurethe Moment so without her today it’s her chance. Loves getting her toe into the ground so soft track no issue and has won 3rd up. Little sticky gate with speed inside from Phenom (stablemate) and She Nailed It so Willo might try and take some cover if luck falls his way. If she gets lick kick early in running she will win.
Race 9 | 9. Arabian Summer
Had zero luck posted wide in the Oakleigh Plate and stuck on well in the straight when swamped off a fast pace. Pray for a little rain as I think she is slightly better on a soft track. This would be first time to MV and I am certain it would suit her!! Always runs well and this would be no different!!

Race 2 | 5. Sounds Of Heaven
Forgive last week in the G1 where she missed the kick and never got near them. Won off the 7 day back up in the Spring and up to 1900m shouldn’t be an issue. Should be able to follow the rail and sit couple pairs back off Knockout fast tempo. Well Weighted and the firm track helps, Won’t do any work and superstar jockey will get her home!
Race 6 | 1. Broadsiding & 2. Goldrush Guru (Quinella)
I think third up to 2000m is ideal for Broadsiding but won’t take the $2. If he gets to $2.40 I’ll back him but there is only one horse in the race who can beat him and it’s Goldrush Guru. 2000m is perfect and was really good in the Australian Guineas with no luck! I think Broadsiding is classier and a legit 2000m horse and the other is on way to derby but these are the two to fight the race out.
Race 7 | 11. Stefi Magnetica (each-way)
Everything went wrong last start so I expect a much improved performance today! Track conditions suit, drawn nice to sit right off speed. Her second up form is nice and the 1500m is possibly her sweet spot (Golden Eagle) it’s a very open G1 but I expect her to run really well at an each way price.
