SENTrack: Friday best bets from Mick Gannon & Campbell Brown (16/05)
Mick Gannon & Campbell Brown have your Friday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a look at Scone, Werribee, Townsville & Albury to bring the Track family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Mick Gannon
SCONE
Race 2, No.7 - Solitario
Was unsuited on debut on the Armidale track and is likely to jump out of the ground on his home track, which is more spacious and will allow him time to wind up. Ran the seventh fastest last 600m and 100m on debut, but never really looked comfortable in doing so. Spelled and since returned with one nice trial under his belt, he’s ready to win here.
Race 5, No.2 - Caltsar
Was a tough watch throughout on debut when he started a $1.24 fav, but his class shone through late. He will take natural improvement from that and is sure to relish the mile on a rain affected track. He is blessed with plenty of talent and if he progresses off that first-up run, he could blow these away.
Race 6, No.17 - Speedy Henry
Was dominant first-up at this track when defeating his rivals by 2.5L. He then went to town in a competitive highway and was very good against the pattern of the day after going back in the run from the wide draw. The rise in trip to 1300m is a minor query, but his sectional profile suggest it’ll suit and in a race that lacks speed, he looks to get a soft time of it on-speed which will only enhance his chances.
ALBURY
Race 8, No.4 - Kirk
Strips fitter after looking the winner at the 200m when first up. Drops from a class 2 to a very winnable BM58, retains Blaike McDougall and maps well in a race that lacks speed.

Campbell Brown
SCONE
Race 5, No.2 - Caltsar
Great debut win last start after a couple of nice trials. Found a heavy track over 1400m and it was absolutely no problem. Up to 1600m today, second up on a soft in a C1. Will go through the grades. $3.20.
ALBURY
Race 5, No.4 - Before The War
Let down from back to run second in a BM64 race last start. Back to C1 drawn well, good speed on paper so will get its chance. $2.80 is a bet.
WERRIBEE
Race 3, No.13 - Montjuic Magic
Very consistent start to career placing in all four starts. Maps to have run of race whilst favourite has to work from outside gate. Every chance to break maiden today at a decent price $4.20.
TOWNSVILLE
Race 4, No.7 - Our Turn Now
Showed plenty of ticker to win last start. Will jump and lead, nice 3kg claim. Danger (Acclimatise) will be giving us a head start and hopefully wont be able to catch us $2.20.
