Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has been confirmed as the number one publisher of Western Australian-produced audio shows on podcasts, with SEN WA Breakfast and Mornings with Mark Duffield ranked as the top two WA produced show’s nationally in the latest Australian Podcast Ranker results for March 2026.
Of the three WA produced podcasts to feature in Commercial Radio & Audio’s (CRA) Australian Top 300 podcasts, SEN claimed the top two positions, reinforcing its position as the leading network for WA radio and podcast publishers across all categories, not just sports entertainment.
SEN WA Breakfast (featuring Peter Bell, Tim Gossage and Scott Cummings) ranked highest among WA produced podcasts at #227 nationally, recording 17,647 monthly listeners and 65,919 monthly downloads, while Mornings with Mark Duffield followed at #251, with 14,515 listeners and 54,186 downloads.
The only other WA-produced radio show or podcast to feature in the ranker was NOVA Entertainment’s Nathan, Nat and Shaun, which ranked at #254, recording 14,150 monthly listeners and 25,769 downloads, placing both SEN WA podcasts ahead across all metrics.
The results highlight SEN’s market lead in locally produced WA podcast content, with SEN accounting for two thirds of all WA made podcasts in the national rankings and delivering the highest performing WA shows in the country.
The WA results form part of a strong national month for SEN, which featured 17 titles in the Australian Top 300, recording 866,000 unique listens and 4.2M downloads – dominating the sport category.
SEN Chief Executive, Craig Hutchison, said the results were a significant endorsement of SEN’s investment in Western Australian content.
“These results show our strategic commitment to local WA content is working. It is very pleasing to be leading the way for WA produced audio shows, and not just in sport, but across the board,” Hutchison said.
“To have the top two WA made podcasts in the country, ahead of all other local content, is a powerful reflection of the quality, relevance and trust our WA teams have built with audiences.”
“SEN WA Breakfast and Mornings with Mark Duffield are deeply connected to the Western Australian sporting landscape, and it’s pleasing to see that local focus translating into the strongest on demand results in the state.”
