Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Saturday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Flemington, Eagle Farm & Randwick in a bid to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Cam Luke
FLEMINGTON
Race 6 | 5. King Of Enterprise
Should have won last start and his form prior to that suggests he will again run huge! Drawn wider but some speed means he can squeeze forward and get some cover and be easier to get to middle of track in straight. Staying at the mile is smart and honestly the wetter the better!!! Should be FAVE!!
Race 8 | 7. Shockletz
Only second time to the 2000m (other the Wakeful) and she looks to have matured nicely. She hits this third up and after her 1600m last start at Sandown she is ready for it where she flashed home behind Taken from near last and having to weave through them. Taggs' horse will ensure plenty of speed in the race allowing Harry Coffey to get her into rhythm from a slightly wider gate than last start which also works.
EAGLE FARM
Race 2 | 11. Austmarr (each-way)
Back to the 1000m and easier race than the G1 I think works really nice for her. She will go forward but can take a seat off it if needed with Steady Ready and Liquor both drawn wide but will both try and lead. She is really nicely weighted and think she can run like she did two starts back when she won the G3 Sydney. Little toe in the ground another big tick.
Race 7 | 1. Giga Kick
Circumstances made it difficult for him in the Goodwood and I today with the added fitness is a better set up. Not much speed in the race so I think he will be a lot closer to the speed than Joliestar who clearly is the danger. He runs at his absolute best on the soft and she will have to go past him off a slow tempo and I’m not sold that she will. He is a star and sometimes people forget that and I think today Giga Kick will remind them. Keep an eye on the Stradbroke futures play I have on Rise At Dawn think he can run well here and even better nest week!! Include him in a multi and certainly the quaddie coming off a really good Doncaster run before a break.
Race 8 | 3. Movin Out
Was great in the Roses and no doubt Eagle Farm and the distance suits her even more! She will get spit out the back so gate no concern and I like it better than the SA Oaks where she drew one off a seven day back up and she ran well there anyway. The fav will ensure speed in the race and she will be hitting the line very hard! I’ve been on her for a while and she is my best of the day!! In J Mac we trust!!!!
Race 9 | 7.Politely Dun & 10 Maison Louis (both each-way)
Open Derby as always but these two will stay the 2400m and profile to be in the finish. Politely Dun was my VC play and he was OK and this is easier and he has been good. That Flemington win last start was of a slugging stayer and before that he ran well behind Statuario at Caulfield which probably doesn’t suit him. He will go back from that gate and go past many in the straight.
Maison Louis is my bigger bet and I think he is crying out for distance. I think the RH run was of a horse who can grind and grind and he gets a sniff today. He won’t go around a horse and star jockey will give him a lovely run. He handled the Heavy ok that day but the firmer track I think is an added bonus. I think he will run a huge race!
I’ll be having these 2 in SB more places SRM as well as each way plays.

FLEMINGTON
Race 2 | 2. Miss Ole
Was heavily supported last start and got the job done looking like a serious galloper. Steps up slightly in trip which will be in her favour as she was running through the line. Meets the second favourite Espana slightly better at the weights too.
Race 3 | 2. Fire Of Etna (value)
Resumes off a nice trial win and she looks over the odds. Has great first up form, this is her pet trip and she draws pole to get the run of the race for Kennedy who takes two off her back.
Race 4 | 5. Supercilious
Resumes and she is not the worst. Raced against some of the best 3yo’s last Spring and was very competitive. She’s a great ew play.
Race 6 | 5. King Of Enterprise
Had absolutely no luck last start and arguably should have won. He draws out here which suits his style as he will get back and run on. Wet track is no worries for him and he deserves another chance.
RANDWICK
Race 3 | 4. Miss Kim Kar
Blew them away the other day coming from near last and she will appreciate stepping up to the mile. Similar conditions same grade and the 3 kilos extra shouldn’t be a problem.
Race 4 | 4. Vinolass
Resumes and she flies fresh. Has won a recent trial will handle the heavy and she will race up on pace for the 3 kilo apprentice.
