Aren’t we absolutely flying towards Christmas and 2026 but we’re also flying to some big races on the racing calendar which I’m sure some stars of the track from Queensland will be targeted towards.
Tonight though we’re heading to Q1 Lakeside for 12 races on what is a really nice card of racing. The first race is penned for 7:22pm and the lucky last is scheduled for 11:08pm.
Feature races galore but none more important than the Ipswich Derby & Futurity Finals.

R6 N8 ZIPPING LEE
Box 8 bandit and was a certainty beat last outing. Lost momentum on the first turn last week when belted by the 8 and ran on well after that. 66% win record off the pink, great overall time at the track and loves the Q1 Lakeside. Key to the chances are the 6 leading and carting us into the race!
R7 N3 BLUE BLEND
Luckless of a wide draw last start, draws inside and has class oozing! Moral beat last start when held wide for a large portion of the run, untouched wins by panels. Will be better for that run, another run at the Q1 after a string of runs at Capalaba.
R9 N6 FANCIFUL
Explosive type who is 2 from 2 at the Q2 and finds a race with minimal to no early speed. Expect to carve to the lead and take some running down. 29.73 last outing is slick, repeats that goodnight nurse.

Classy type who has had zero luck of box draws for a while and gets a rails opportunity here tonight. Has to avoid the 1 early as it will look to shift up the track to the middle of the track. Only missed a place once off draws 1-3 so stats say it’s drawn perfectly! Overs each way!!
