Another week goes by and we are full steam ahead to Christmas. Yes we’re in late August and it’s a scary thought that there is only 4 months left in 2025……. The class racing isn’t far away with feature racing ramping up.
Tonight’s card is at Q1 Lakeside and has 10 races to focus on. The first on the card is set for 6:42pm and the lucky last is 10:08pm. Two distances used for tonight’s meeting, the 457 & 550m. Some nice up and coming types to pick the eyes out of for future racing. Tune into SEN TRACK 1593am from 6-10 pm to catch all the tips, analysis and banter.

R4 N1 SHAZAM
Huge the past few and strikes the red again here tonight. Steps clean and musters well but does want to hold a position through the first turn. Relying on the 3 to provide great cover early as we can slide the paint if so. Weak race from what he’s used to racing! Keen!
R7 N3 DAYSEA’S SHELLY
Class above these on her best and does have great attributes to be confident in her winning. Goes well track and trip and was absolutely massive in late July off box 3 before stepping up to 700m. Minimal speed inside, can cross and lead and be very hard to catch. 4 stays off the track which give us room to burn. At her best she wins this and we’re getting a price to find out.

If you look at the track form then you’d be steering clear but she has placed in 10 of the 20 starts over the distance. Form of late has been solid, charged home over 390m and the step up to 457 suits well. Mad for the rail and don’t be surprised if she belts home up the fence. Each way play!
R5 N1 OUT TO SEA
Drawn to perfection and has been in some solid form. Box 1 record is grim, yet has placed in 13 of the 30 starts from draws 1-3. Massive run last start over the 457 and a repeat of the run three starts back sees him very competitive. Stays on the rails whilst the 2 & 3 push off and surprises you.
