The lads have taken a close look at Gosford, Tamworth, Ipswich & Alice Springs in a bid to find the family some winners.

GOSFORD
Race 2 | 8. Extractor
This bloke is short but he should be. Was pretty good in the Blue Diamond and then the Pago Pago and as we know that form holds up for a Gosford maiden. Don’t go overboard but he has trialled well without being asked to do too much and Tommy Berry will ride him like the best horse in the race which he is and he’ll win.
Race 4 | 5. Woodrow
This bloke got a little tired late on debut at Randwick so back to the 1000m today suits nicely. There is a little pressure upfront so from that gate Gibbons might try and take a seat but as long as he gets a backside he’ll find rhythm in the run. This is a pretty deep race with a number of chances but if this bloke improves like I expect him to after his first run, it’ll be very hard to beat at this level.
Race 7 | 7. Perle De Chocolat
This girl went around and really strong races in her second prep and I like this set up today after a couple of nice trials. We’ll go forward and control the race from that gate although there is a little bit speed drawn inside her! Soft track not an issue in the world and I expect her to be very hard to beat today.
TAMWORTH
Race 5 | 3. Nugget Smart
Was really good breaking day maiden last start over this track and distance and I think a good track will even help even more. Not a monster amount of speed so Bullock should be able to get over from that awkward gate and control the race. Always tough going from a maiden to win to win two in a row but I don’t think as far as C1 go it’s as deep as we have seen before and he will be very hard to beat.
Race 7 | 4. Power Beau
This is way easier than last start at Eagle Farm and if you look back to the race before that at Grafton if it gets to this level going to be really hard to beat. 1200m tick good track tick perfect gate tick going to be extremely hard to beat if we see the form previous to the last start.
Race 8 | 6. Listins Lass
This is way easier than last prep that included a run in town behind Autumn Glow, albeit 15 lengths behind her. Should be a little closer to the speed first up from that good gate and be very hard to beat on the good track!
Sam Hyland
GOSFORD
Race 5 | 7. Scottish Pearl
Will give a great sight here as she gets up front and rolls along nicely, she goes on any conditions and this her right grade, she will be improved from the first up run, good hope.
TAMWORTH
Race 7 | 4. Power Beau
Has drawn well here and been a winner at Tamworth he was sound enough at Eagle Farm and this will be easier, nice hope.
IPSWICH
Race 6 | 2. State In Texas
Has drawn well here and is very good over this trip get some weight off so looks well in for this race.
ALICE SPRINGS
Race 2 | 2. Grinzinger Lass
Has been in great form and from the good draw gets a good run, she is only lightly raced so still upside to her and she can win here, all the best punters!
