Flopped out of the gates on debut at Sandown. Was back last, peeled out and really hit the line well running fifth. That race experience and a Step up in trip will suit, as will a better start. Huge chance. $3.20.
ARMIDALE
Race 4 | 1. Bundoran
Was first up for new stable and ran very well into second. Five placings in seven career starts suggest she isn't far away. Will jump and lead today and be hard to beat in this weak maiden. $2.30
KEMBLA GRANGE
Race 5 | 7. De Louviere
All these horse coming out of similar form races. De Louviere was so good winning at Gosford three back. Then didn't have the best of runs last start but was refused to yield. Up in trip, handles soft ground. Good value in an open race $5.50.
MOUNT GAMBIER
Race 5 | 3. Surfy Pete
Had been racing in tougher races then found the right race last start but ran on for third. Was just held up briefly at a crucial stage on turn and winner skipped away. Rattled home and nearly pinched second. Should be winning today $2.70.
Miles Pfitzner
Slim pickings.Taken a running double at Mount Gambier. Those two are the standouts. Milos has one to beat in it's race. My suggestion, back right off today, back off Caulfield Saturday and chase value Rosehill Sat or wait for Sunday.
