SEN partners with Westfield and SBS to bring dedicated World Cup fan zones to life
The 2026 FIFA World Cup™ is just around the corner.
And Westfield is partnering with SEN and SBS to celebrate the event in style with dedicated fan zones across the nation.
With the tournament beginning on June 12, all 104 matches will be streamed live at its shopping centres, allowing fans to witness the action.
Alongside the live streams, there will be activations around the fan zone helping create a celebration of the round ball.
Speaking on the announcement, Scentre Group CEO Elliott Rusanow was excited to host and bring the fan zones to life.
“The idea is making a place where people come to and enjoy their time so much they stay,” he said on SEN’s Arvos with Adam Peacock.
“And what better way to stay than to be able to watch your favourite team or the teams that you support play in the World Cup.
“That's what's been made possible with our partnerships with both SEN, who will do the pre-match coverage, legends, meet and greets throughout our destinations and SBS, football fan zones that will be streaming the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ live. Plus, our centres will hold clinics, interactions, and a lot of activity around the games.
“So, it's not just about watching, it’s about being.”
The Socceroos’ campaign begins on July 14 with their opening group game against Türkiye at BC Place in Vancouver.
