A familiar name to cricket fans in Aotearoa, Daniel Vettori is now a few years deep into his tenure as assistant coach with Australia.
The 113-Test Blackcaps veteran was part of the squad when the Australians lifted The Urn in England two years ago, but is currently in the midst of his maiden Ashes experience on Aussie soil, where his eyes have been opened to the unique place the series hold in the country's sporting lore.
Vettori joined Sport Nation's Millsy & Guy to reflect on the team's sensational two-day win in the series opener, looks ahead to what's to come, and discusses the mini-rivalry developing between his former teammates turned coaching colleagues in the English camp.
