The White Ferns have recalled Eden Carson, Molly Penfold, Hannah Rowe and Bella James for their three-match T20 series against Australia later this month.
Captain Melie Kerr will lead the 15-player squad, with Carson returning after elbow surgery ruled her out since December.
Penfold and Rowe bolster the pace attack following the retirements of Sophie Devine and Lea Tahuhu, while James adds batting depth following Suzie Bates’ departure.
“There’s a balance of experience and future-focus in this squad and it’s going to be a chance for the group to test themselves against a quality side," interim head coach Dean Brownlie said in a statement.

Wicketkeeper Izzy Gaze is unavailable after undergoing surgery on an ongoing thumb injury, with Polly Inglis set to take the gloves. Gaze is targeting a return in early 2027.
Carson said she was delighted to be back in the international setup after a lengthy rehabilitation.
“To be back in the White Ferns environment is really special,” she said.
“The rehab process has taken a lot of patience, but I've been fortunate to have great support around me and I'm feeling ready to get back out there and contribute.”
The tour will also mark Brownlie’s first assignment as interim head coach following Ben Sawyer’s departure.
The White Ferns face a Governor-General’s XI in a warm-up on October 15 before three T20Is against Australia at North Sydney Oval on October 18, 20 and 22.
