Blackcaps confirm squad for T20 series against india

The Blackcaps have named a 16-man squad for their five-match T20I series against India, with a seven-strong pace attack headlining the side.
Adam Milne returns to the squad after more than a year away from international cricket, joining Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Kyle Jamieson, Jacob Duffy, Zak Foulkes and Nathan Smith.
Thirteen players from the Blackcaps side that finished runners-up to India at this year's T20 World Cup have been included.
However, Rachin Ravindra will miss the series after dislocating his right shoulder during a promotional shoot last week.
His rehabilitation is expected to take around six weeks, with New Zealand hoping he will return for the ODI series against India starting at Eden Park on November 4.
Tim Seifert and Finn Allen will reunite at the top of the order, having played key roles in New Zealand's run to the T20 World Cup final.
White-ball captain Mitchell Santner will lead the side, with Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Bevon Jacobs, Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips also included.

Ben Sears remains unavailable as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
Coach Rob Walter said the balance of the squad reflected his desire to manage bowler's workloads ahead of a demanding international schedule.
“Our priority is winning games and putting the best team on the park, but we also have to keep in mind the volume of cricket in the coming months.
“We’re very fortunate with the depth that we’ve got to call upon, so we’ll look to use all 16 squad members throughout the series as we manage workloads."
The five-match series begins in Christchurch on October 22, before moving to Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton.
