Bharat Sundaresan's heartfelt tribute for the late Robin Smith
Bharat Sundaresan has shared a touching tribute for the late Robin Smith following the news of his passing.
Smith died unexpectedly at his apartment in Perth on Monday at the age of 62.
An English cricketing legend, Smith played 62 Tests through the late 1980s into the early-to-mid 1990s, scoring 4236 runs at an average of 43.6 with nine centuries and 28 50s.
Smith also played 71 ODIs for 2419 runs at 39 with four tons.
Sundaresan, a close friend of Smiths, extended a heartfelt message regarding 'Judgey' on Wednesday afternoon.

"I still haven't really recovered from the moment I heard that he passed," Bharat told SEN Cricket.
"It's funny isn't it, life. At times, people just come into your life when you least expect it and they become integral parts of your life.
"I never thought Robin Smith would become one of those people. Three years ago, I was at the WACA to watch Australia train before one of their Test matches, and Robin was there on the hill with a friend.
"He walked up to me and he said, 'I've seen you on TV, I really enjoy your work'. We hit it off. He was a lovely man, and he was full of love.
"I'm grateful that I could call him family."
