Parker: Broncos are no chance in finals without Walsh

The Brisbane Broncos are no chance of winning a semi-final let alone a Grand Final without Reece Walsh, according to Corey Parker.
With Ezra Mam and Adam Reynolds sidelined for the rest of the season with hamstring injuries, the onus is on Walsh to step up and fill the void.
Walsh has played a role in 12 of the broncos' victories this season and it's tendency to ignite the attack that Parker believes is essential to a run deep into September.
"If the Broncos are to make a run, they can’t do it without Reece Walsh," Parker said on SENQ Breakfast.
"The way the game is at the moment and the style they play, they cannot win semi-finals or grand finals without him.
"He brings so much energy, attacking threat but the way the Broncos play, they need Walsh."
The fullback has copped significant criticism in recent weeks following error-strewn performances - particularly against the Eels defeat last week - but Michael Maguire is confident his star can lift.
“Reyno’ is our captain and our general for sure. Reece knows that and he respects that too in a great way,” Maguire said last month.
“We expect Reece to go out there and take the opposition on when the time is right. It is just picking the right times.”
Currently fifth on the ladder with two matches to play, it won't be an easy road to a top four finish for Brisbane who travel to the Cowboys before hosting Storm in the final round. Even then other results will have to go their way.
