Cameron Mooney names his five worst AFL supporter groups
Triple premiership forward Cameron Mooney has named the five worst supporter groups he dealt with during his 221-game AFL career.
Mooney began his career at North Melbourne, where he featured 11 times from 1997 to 1999 before moving to Geelong, where he’d become an All-Australian across 210 games.
The former forward prefaced his list by stating that these are the groups who he personally had bad experiences with.
“Who is the worst AFL supporter groups that I had to deal with?” Mooney asked on The Warm Up with Worlo and Moons.
“This is about me and who I copped it off.”
Check out his list below.

5 – North Melbourne
“Number five, I'm going with my old mob, North,” Mooney said.
“They used to give it to me when I started playing against them with Geelong. They’d say, ‘Thanks for 1999, you didn’t even get a kick!’.
“I got the little bit of that, I haven't really put up much of an argument.
“But then I went on a four or five game streak against them where I kicked like 30 goals.”
4 – Port Adelaide
“At number four, I'm going to go with Port Adelaide here.
“After the 2004 Qualifying Final against Port over there in Adelaide, they absolutely smacked us, and Brendon Lade and I had a little bit of an altercation.
“This guy walked up to me after the game, I was about to head on the bus, he got right in my face and just absolutely called me whatever, and I had to get held back!
“For me, that ruined it for all Port people. But since ’07, they’ve been good to me.”
3 – Collingwood
“At number three I’ve got Collingwood people.
“There was a fair bit of abuse coming over the fence from Collingwood people, and don't get me wrong, I loved it because if I was getting abused, it means I was doing my job.”
2 – WA fans (both West Coast and Fremantle)
“At number two, I'm going for the double here over in Perth, whether it was West Coast or Fremantle.
“I don't know what I did to them, but they were brutal.
“You'd be waiting to come off the off the bench and especially at the old Subiaco and they were right on top of you.”
1 – Hawthorn
“Number one is my old sparring partners, the Hawks.
“In  2012 we were doing the lap of honour for retiring players, and I was doing the lap with Brad Ottens.
“So, as we get in the car, we drive onto the MCG and Hawthorn were playing Sydney in the 2012 Grand Final.
“For the first 50 so meters I'm waving, ‘Thank you, thank you’… but by the end of it, I’ve copped that much crap that I’m giving everyone the bird! Everybody get stuffed!”
