Will May's "switch allegiance" jibe end Origin chances?

Andrew Voss says it’s no surprise that Terrell May was not included in Laurie Daley’s NSW Origin squad after his behaviour on live streaming site Twitch.
Last week, amid speculation over who would miss out on the final team for Game I, May was asked about his chances while playing Call of Duty and live streaming.
"You know that Blues jersey I bought you? Chuck it in the bin,” he said before being asked if the team was confirmed amid media reports it had been and that he was out in the cold.
"Nah, it's not the media. How do you think it got leaked? You think they're not just playing Chinese whispers?" May added.
He then delivered a hammer blow by saying: "Might have to switch my allegiance".
It’s left a bitter taste in people’s mouths, most notably former Blues coach Brad Fittler’s who on Sunday labelled May’s behaviour as “pathetic”.
Voss echoed Fittler’s sentiments on SEN Breakfast.
“Boy oh boy I don’t think he’s done himself a whole lot of favours,” he said.
“The Twitch video, he’s live streaming playing a game and it (Origin selection) came into the conversation
“How do they not know, anything out there on social media is possible to go everywhere. He thinks he’s just Having a conversation with one person – it’s being recorded.
“If I’m a coach I don’t know whether that’s the player I want, am I being a dinosaur?
“Fittler yesterday had his say and I think he spoke for a lot of people that respect the game when he said people would kill to be in the squad.
“I don’t care if he’s talking to a random, just say ‘I’m disappointed to miss out, I’m gonna try harder.’
“Something about that grates me.
“I’m still in a mystery about why he was moved on for the Roosters. They developed him.”
Voss’s co-host Greg Alexander suggested perhaps it was time to “join the dots” between May leaving the Rooster and his non-selection for Origin.
