Premiership Bulldogs granted indefinite personal leave

James Harmes is the latest player to be granted personal leave as he works through private challenges at the Western Bulldogs.
Harmes has not reported back to the Whitten Oval after the Christmas break and there is no timeline on his return.
The midfielder had not missed a session before the festive season, but his spot in the Dogs’ best side for the start of the season is now in doubt.
He follows Tyson Stengel and Bobby Hill in seeking time away from his club.
Harmes is out of contract at the end of the year.
The Bulldogs get their season under way against the Premiers Brisbane at the Gabba on March 7.
More to come.
