Gold Coast’s Malcolm Rosas Jnr is attracting interest ahead of the 2025 trade period.
AFL Media’s Michael Whiting is reporting that Richmond is showing interest in the 24-year-old small forward who is out of favour at the Suns.
The Sydney Swans are also looking at the speedy small who comes out of contract at season’s end.
Rosas has played just 10 games in two seasons under Tigers premiership coach Damien Hardwick and has played only three times at senior level in 2025. His last AFL outing came in Round 11 as the sub.
The Northern Territory native debuted in 2021 after being picked up through the Suns’ Darwin Academy and has played 48 AFL games for 46 goals.
He has averaged 18 disposals and kicked 11 goals in 13 VFL matches for the Suns this season.
Richmond’s small forward stocks are in solid order with Rhyan Mansell, Seth Campbell - who is expected to play more midfield time next year and beyond - Steely Green and more recently Maurice Rioli Jnr all featuring regularly.
The Swans are seeking more support for Tom Papley after an injury-hit 2025 season.
