Tigers make call on Balta availability
SEN and Nine's Tom Morris has announced that Noah Balta will not be selected for the Tigers ahead of their Gather Round fixture with Fremantle.
Balta is facing up to five years in jail after pleading guilty for an attack on another man outside the Mulwala Water Ski club in December last year.
The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to a single count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and will be sentenced on April 22.
Balta was given a four-match ban by Richmond meaning he is available for the club’s Round 5 and 6 clashes against Freo and the Suns.
