Thursday best bets from Luke & Pfitzner (29/05)
Miles Pfitzner & Cam Luke have your Thursday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Gosford, Inverell & Hamilton in a bid to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇

INVERELL
Race 6 | 2. Poseidon's Son
Liked it's win last prep, not sure if tipped out or something went a miss but two trials in the lead up for this were great. Happy to take on fav who looked soft winning on debut but that race was unbelievably awful.
HAMILTON
Race 2 | 3. Renege
Was with this horse last time and I think had just run into a handy one. Not entirely sure it should be this price but have it clearly on top here. Finally, finds its race.
Race 7 | 1. Cleitus
Interesting horse this. Wasn’t completely unhappy with the last run I don’t think it handled that awful book track. Run prior was happy though to see where it went next. Handles the sting out which here it will get without being bottomless. Had a clear danger in the race but third-up had the horse fitter and I think can win in this grade.

Cam Luke
GOSFORD
Race 7 | 3. Glorioso
Was pretty good last start on the bog in similar race. Claim is going to help and will do no work from the gate. Small field allows jock to get it middle of track at some point if needed. Always runs well fourth where she is today! Fav Oryx deserves market support and will control race but heavy not his love so far albeit in tougher races but still not confident he handles it.
INVERELL
Race 5 | 4. No More Romance
Resumes today in a very winnable race after trialling up three times very well! First up form always strong and she will stalk the speed and has conditions to suit. Showed plenty of good form last prep and I expect No More Romance to be top classy here.
Race 6 | 1. Eject
The fav was great on debut but this tougher and $1.60 is ludicrous. The former Victorian Eject has been in much better races in Melbourne and doesn’t need to improve in the new stable because this race is easier. Has won first-up before and the only bad run in his career was his last so if they can work out why he will be much improved on that. Hasn’t been on soft before but ran well on the heavy in a nice race to end his second prep so I don’t think it will be the conditions that beat him.
HAMILTON
Race 7 | 8. Barbie'sdreamworld
Is better than these and even though $2.40 is short she deserves the quote. Was pretty decent three back in town, OK in SA and last start had to go back due to gate and can be a little closer today. Beat some of these home that day and the soft track is no concern and it is dries out a bit she will be even shorter. If it rains Cleitus will probably be backed a bit if heavy occurs. They are the only two who can win so I have had an Exacta with 8-1 and a Quinella with those numbers as well as a saver but Barbie is my girl here!
