The SEN nine-leg AFL multi for Gather Round
SEN • April 10th, 2025 4:20 pm

The SEN.com.au team has pieced together their weekend multi ahead of Round 5.
With one leg from each contest across the entire round of footy, we've left no stone unturned in building the best odds for your punting needs.
Kicking off with Thursday night's Gather Round opener, here are the legs we've locked in across Round 5.
All odds taken from Sportsbet at the time of publishing.
Adelaide v Geelong
Darcy Fogarty 2+ goals ($1.49)
Darcy Fogarty is building a case as the most reliable goalkicker in the league, kicking 2+ goals in every game to start the 2025 season.
The Crows’ power forward loves the spotlight of Gather Round, having kicked 5 goals in 2023 and backing it up with 2 more last year.
It helps that he thrives at Adelaide Oval too, slotting 2+ in 8 of his last 10 at the venue.
With the Crows averaging a league-high 19.3 goals a game, expect Fogarty to have plenty of scoring opportunities, where he will look to extend his impressive record of booting 2+ goals in 16 out of his last 20 games.
Currently at $1.49, we're locking in the beer-can bandit to strike at least twice.
Connor Scanlon
Collingwood v Sydney
Josh Daicos 25+ disposals ($1.50)
Josh Daicos has taken his game to another level in 2025 after a role change to half-back, collecting 25 or more touches in every game this season.
He’s no stranger to big performances at Adelaide Oval either, averaging 27.8 disposals across his last five matches at the ground.
Sydney have also struggled to contain rebounding defenders this year, conceding big numbers to Karl Amon (27), Jake Bowey (26), Caleb Daniel (25) and Darcy Wilmot (25).
With Dan Houston suspended, Josh Daicos is likely to take on more kick-in duties, just like he did in Opening Round when he gathered 28.
All signs point to another big outing for the Collingwood star under the lights in Adelaide, and with odds sitting at $1.50, this leg is a no-brainer.
Connor Scanlon
North Melbourne v Gold Coast
Daniel Rioli 20+ disposals ($1.23)
The half-back recruit has been huge for Gold Coast since arriving in the off-season.
Through three games for the club so far, Rioli has picked up at least 20 disposals in each game for the Suns.
He’s also had 20 or more disposals in his last 20 games with last game below that number coming when he had 19 disposals for Richmond against West Coast in Round 5, 2024.
Simply put, Rioli – who is averaging 22.33 touches a game in 2025 - should be a lock at 20+ against the Kangaroos.
Lachlan Geleit
Carlton v West Coast
Tom De Koning 20+ disposals ($1.32)
Carlton ruckman Tom De Koning has been a beast in 2025, averaging 23.5 touches per game.
While he’s dropped below the 20-touch mark on two occasions, when he picked up 19 touches against the Hawks and Magpies in Round 2 and 4 respectively, you’d expect him to climb back over that figure against the Eagles.
West Coast ruckman Bailey Williams hasn’t won a ruck battle this year, with all of Jarrod Witts, Oscar McInerney, Luke Jackson and Kieren Briggs featuring in their side’s best up against the Eagles this season.
If De Koning can do the same, 20+ shouldn’t be an issue for the emerging superstar.
Lachlan Geleit
Western Bulldogs v Brisbane
Ryley Sanders 15+ disposals ($1.21)
Western Bulldogs youngster Ryley Sanders has been getting more midfield minutes increase in 2025, and his numbers have increased as a result.
After averaging 16.5 disposals per game in his first AFL season, Sanders is picking up 18.8 per appearance in 2025.
He’s also had at least 15 disposals in each of his four games this season, while he’s also passed the 20-touch marker in his last two.
15+ shouldn’t be a problem for Sanders, even against the Lions.
Lachlan Geleit
Melbourne v Essendon
Kysaiah Pickett 15+ disposals ($1.38)
The Demons need a spark, and Pickett can provide just that.
In their loss against Geelong, Melbourne won the centre clearance battle for the first time this year as the club strives to return to their midfield-dominant identity.
The only change that the Demons made in the centre of the park was the return of Kozzy, who collected 22 disposals and three clearances from 59 per cent centre bounce attendances (second most of all Demon midfielders).
We expect Kozzy to remain in the midfield, and with that, we expect him to have plenty of touch in tight.
Risky punters might take a serious look at 20+ disposals at $2.50, however at $1.38 for 15+, we’re taking the safe option.
Jaiden Sciberras
Richmond v Fremantle
Murphy Reid anytime goal ($1.44)
Bruce Almighty.
The kid is continuing to register his name as the steal of the draft.
Proving as lively as any, Reid has hit the ground running, booting four in a few minutes in Round 1 and nailing the sealer in last week’s nail-biter against the Dogs.
Crucially, the natural midfielder did not register a centre bounce attendance in Round 4, and with his elite forward pressure and knack for the big sticks, we’re confident Reid will spend most of his afternoon up forward.
Coming up against the Tigers who have conceded 59 goals in the last three weeks, a Murphy Reid major at $1.44 should be a staple this weekend.
Jaiden Sciberras
St Kilda v GWS Giants
Jesse Hogan 2+ goals ($1.24)
If there is anyone to put your faith in, it’s at the reigning Coleman Medallist fresh off a bag of nine.
Jesse Hogan has kicked at least a goal in 36 straight games and multiple goals in 28 of those, including multiples 13 times in a row.
He’s kicked 2.2, 2.0 and 2.2 in his past three against St Kilda and we reckon he’s primed to again deliver at least a couple.
By this stage of the weekend we want certainties and Hogan to kick 2+ goal is as near a certainty as you can get in footy (unless he gets Wilkie'd).
Andrew Slevison
Port Adelaide v Hawthorn
Nick Watson anytime goal ($1.17)
OK, ok, we know it’s short, but hopefully by now the hard work has been done and we can sit back and smoke the pipe and pray for a Nick Watson goals.
“The Wizard’ was slow to start the season in Opening Round, but has recoiled nicely with six goals in three games since.
He booted three majors in the Semi Final against Port at this venue last season so he’s already had a taste of playing in front of partisan Power crowd.
Strap yourself in and let the Wiz bring us home.
