The Melbourne Stars find another wacky way to lose as they slump to 0-5 start to the BBL season
A run out that should have been given out but was ultimately ignored by umpires and players alike is the latest bit of drama for a Melbourne Stars side that has sunk to 0-5.
Sam Billings was the man that crushed their hopes overnight, bashing 72 to help the Sydney Thunder set 182 as the first innings target.
However, he should have been run out for 16, but given nobody appealed it went unnoticed.

Ben Duckett once again did what he could with the bat, making 67 off 49 balls for the Stars, while Glenn Maxwell’s struggles continued, only making six.
The loss comes following star import Tom Curran’s calf injury at training.
The Stars attempted to replace him with Englishman Dan Lawrence for the Thunder clash given he had previously represented the side and was in Australia, but Cricket Australia rejected their bid.
