SENTrack: Sunday best bets from Sam Hyland and David Taggart (22/06)
Sam and Tags have your Sunday sorted on Trackside!
See their best bets below:👇
Sam Hyland
CRANBOURNE
Race 7 | 6. Bold Strike
Was fantastic winning first up at Ararat & will only improve getting back to a winning trip here & a sweet run here will see him run well in this.
ECHUCA
Race 5 | 1. Night Cryer
Got the win on the board last start & can go on with it here l, his confidence is up & he will stick on strong.
WAGGA
Race 4 | 4. Perfectly Good
Has plenty of ability, this horse jarred up on the firm ground last start & the wet track is the key to it winning, drawn soft to get a good run, he will take beating.
MURWILLUMBAH
Race 7 | 9. Won For Wazza
Will enjoy getting back on the turf, he is deep in the preparation & hard fit & this looks to be easier than what he has been racing in, looks a good hope.
SUNSHINE COAST
Race 5 | 1. Mr O'Reilly
Will be improved from his first up run& will be suited to the the step up in trip, KWT is a good booking here.
Race 8 | 2. Poseidon Ruler
Is effective at the trip & is yet to win this prep but I think the hoof is on the till, he has the claim & with the right right run he can salute here.
KALGOORLIE
Race 1 | 5. Alabama Elegance
Looks ready to knock over the maiden here & should get the perfect run from gate 1, this is the race for this pretty horse.
HOBART
Race 10 | 4. Lil Hail Mary
Has been good at both runs in & Darma on board is a positive, shouldn’t be far away in the run & can win this.
David Taggart
WAGGA
Race 3 | 1. Astern Torch
Finally won his maiden after 23 starts. Will get every chance again from barrier 2 and there is no reason why he can’t win again at odds. Not dripping in cream this race and he looks a great play.
Race 4 | 3. Elastane Miss
Has been knocking on the door as she steps up to 1200m for the first time which looks ideal Conditions suit and she has to be a big chance.
MURWILLUMBAH
Race 3 | 1. Siglo De Oro
Strips fitter for his first up run where he knocked up late after racing up on the speed. Back in trip and grade suits and from pole I would expect him to jump lead and win.
Race 7 | 11. Under The Palais
Will get every opportunity here from pole. Not sure how she lost last start after finishing 2 off Apunter when both placed who then went on and placed in a G3.
CRANBOURNE
Race 2 | 2. Jamesjohno
Billy Egan had options of rides here and he does stick with the fav No.2 Jamesjohno which is good enough for me. Should sit off No.5 Topmost who he got off.
Race 7 | 3. Everain
Bolted in first up on a heavy track leading all the way. Draws out a bit and is not going to get it his own way but still should be too good for these.
