Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is delighted to release its AFL club membership day results, and congratulates the over 5,500 new members of AFL clubs via SEN on the back of another highly successful initiative.
SEN confirms that more than 5,500 members have signed up to the six clubs that participated in the initiative so far in 2025, resulting in over $500,000 in revenue to clubs, as well as incredible one-off deals to fans.
AFL club membership days sees clubs get a full day takeover on SEN 1116 in Melbourne and SEN's highly engaging digital channels, paired with a special membership offer for 24 hours only.
SEN thanks Collingwood, Essendon, Geelong, Hawthorn, St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs for partnering on the membership day initiative in 2025.
With many clubs delivering over 50% of membership sales to first time members, SEN is excited to support clubs’ continuous membership growth plans.
Sports Entertainment Network Chief Executive, Craig Hutchison, thanked clubs who participated and provided great value opportunities for SEN listeners.
“These membership days are hugely successful, provide great on air content, and high value for our audiences and new members alike,” Hutchison said.
“We extend an invitation to all clubs each year to participate, and the results are continually outstanding. It’s a great deal for our audiences and clubs; a perfect win-win.
“We’ve seen great growth in NRL club memberships too in working with a couple of NRL clubs in a similar vein.
“The AFL has a strategic objective of reaching 2 million club members in the future, and we are delighted to have played our role, supporting six big and aspirational Melbourne clubs to help grow their memberships.”
