Why Parker has the Kangaroos 'under the pump'

Despite having won the first two matches of the Rugby League Ashes, Corey Parker believes the Kangaroos need to lift their performance for the Third Ashes Test against England.
In the first series between England and Australia in 22 years, the Kangaroos have managed to win with double-digit margins, which has demonstrated the gulf between the two sides.
But while the scoreline has shown positive results for Australia, Parker thinks that considering the star quality of Australia, they should be more emphatic in their victories.
This would leave the 13-time representative for Australia to encourage the current squad to lift.
“I think the Australian side is under the pump,” Parker explained on SENQ Breakfast.
“I think they’ll win, but I want to see them win well. We don’t want to be talking on Monday morning, going, ‘It was an underwhelming performance’.
“I’m not on my own saying that the quality of football played from our best players in our national colours hasn’t been where it needs to be.
“Anytime you pull on the Australian colours, you are under the pump, that’s what it holds.”
Australia will play the third and final match of the Rugby League Ashes on Sunday morning at Headingley Stadium in Leeds.
The Kangaroos have made only the one change to their line-up with Isaah Yeo returning to the line-up following his concussion in the First Test for Lindsay Collins, who will be on the bench.
Play will begin at 1:30am AEDT.
