Ross skipper “very confident” that star on-baller will recommit to the club
Luke Davies-Uniacke looms as one of the biggest out of contract names in 2025 and speculation about his future has been rife for 12 months.
The star North Melbourne midfielder was taken with pick four in the 2017 National Draft and has risen to the ranks of the best on-ballers in the competition in recent years.
Club captain Jy Simpkin is bullish Davies-Uniacke will commit to the club long term.

“I’m very confident with LDU signing on. We all love him. He loves us – I think!” he told SEN Breakfast.
“We all get along really well. I’m confident he’ll sign on the dotted line sooner rather than later.
“He’s got a massive future with us and we see him playing a massive role with us going forward, so I’m sure he’ll sign on.”
In June of 2024, the 25-year-old said publicly he wanted to remain with the Roos, but as of early 2025 he has not put pen to paper.
St Kilda is among the teams reportedly keen on luring him in the off-season.
