Phillip Hughes Tribute: SEN Cricket team remembers late Australian batsman 10 years after his passing

Wednesday, November 27 marked 10 years since Phillip Hughesâ passing at just 25 years old.
The Australian batsman passed in the most tragic of circumstances after being hit by a bouncer in a Sheffield Shield match at the SCG in 2014.
At just 25, Hughes had plenty of cricket ahead of him and many were tipping him to become one of the nationâs greats with the bat given heâd already played 26 Tests and 25 ODIs, scoring five international tons.
Hughes burst onto the scene as a teenager with NSW and heâd go on to score 26 First Class centuries. His Test debut came in 2009 aged just 20 and heâd make a pair of twin tons in his second Test match against a South African attack including Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel and Makhaya Ntini.
While Hughesâ on-field talents were obvious to all, he made an equally as big impact off the field with his good-natured personality making him a favourite of teammates and the cricket community alike.
SEN Cricketâs call team including Adam White, Peter Lalor, Gerard Whately and Simon Katich paid tribute to Hughes during Australiaâs first Test against India in Perth.
