Kiwi basketball fans will be able to watch every domestic league game live and free from 2027, after Sky and Basketball New Zealand announced an extension of their broadcast partnership.
Under the new agreement, all matches across the the National Basketball League, Tauihi Basketball Aotearoa and Rapid League will be streamed live on ThreeNow, while continuing to be available on Sky Sport and Sky Sport Now.
Sky Head of Content Partnerships Adam Crothers said the move was designed to make the sport more accessible as basketball's popularity continues to grow across Aotearoa.
"This next phase is all about accessibility. By bringing live games to ThreeNow, we're making it easier than ever for fans across Aotearoa to access and enjoy the sport," he said.

Basketball New Zealand chief executive Belinda Edwards said the partnership had played a key role in increasing the visibility of the game and would help build on that momentum.
"Our domestic competitions are the shop front of our sport," Edwards said. "Making them more available to more New Zealanders is a significant step forward for basketball in Aotearoa."
Selected games from the 2026 Tauihi season will also be available on ThreeNow ahead of the full rollout in 2027.
The organisations said they would continue working together to grow audiences, participation and fan engagement across the sport.
