Nathan Buckley’s 2025 mid-season review of all 18 AFL coaches

Former Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has given a review of all 18 AFL coaches after Round 12 of the 2025 season.
Before the campaign, Buckley put the coaches into nine categories – Cloning (Chris Fagan), Creating chaos (Chris Scott, Craig McRae), Contending (Adam Kingsley, Justin Longmuir, Michael Voss), Quarantining (Sam Mitchell), Cocooning (Damien Hardwick, Matthew Nicks, Dean Cox), Coming out (Simon Goodwin, Ken Hinkley), Cobbling (Ross Lyon, Luke Beveridge), Cultivating (Brad Scott, Andrew McQualter, Alastair Clarkson) and Concerning (Adem Yze).
Starting from Yze and going through his categories to Fagan, Buckley assessed how each coach has performed compared to expectation, while also looking forward to how the rest of their club’s seasons are shaping up.
