Matthew Hayden and Adam Gilchrist make Gabba Test predictions

The third Test between Australia and India begins on Saturday at the Gabba in Brisbane.
The series tied 1-1 after India won in Perth by 295 runs before Australia bounced back with a 10-wicket win in Adelaide.
With both sides enjoying matches of dominance so far, the third Test looks increasingly hard to predict.
While he expects India to return to form somewhat after Adelaide, Queensland and Australian great Matthew Hayden expects Australia to enjoy the pace and bounce of the Gabba wicket more than the tourists.
Because of that, the all-time great opening batsman is picking an Australian victory in a tight game.
“I’m aligning with Australia,” Hayden told SEN Breakfast.
“India, I think will struggle with the bounce and pace of this wicket again.
“But I do think it’s going to be a close game.
“Still, I’ve got Australia to win.”
Hayden’s former teammate and fellow Australian great Adam Gilchrist is also picking a win for the home side.
Gilchrist is also tipping Marnus Labuschagne to go big in his home Test with a century.
“I do (think Australia can go up 2-1),” Gilchrist told SEN The New Ball.
“And I’m tipping a Marnus (Labuschagne) hundred.”
The third Test between Australia and India begins at 11:20 am (AEDT) and 10:20 am (AEST) on Saturday. Listen to every ball LIVE on SEN and the SEN app.
