Legendary clever goalkickers Peter Daicos, Stevie Johnson and Stephen Milne are going head-to-head for the first time, coming together for the Four’N Twenty Legends Game Goalkicking ShootOut at Marvel Stadium next Thursday.
Hall of Famer and trick kick goalkicking ‘OG’ Daicos - who kicked 549 AFL goals - returns for the half-time shootout against two of the modern games’ wizards in Johnson (516 goals) and Milne (574 goals).
The trio will relive their wizardry in a five-goal shootout from various spots around Marvel Stadium - with funds from every goal going to support the work of the Australian Prostate Centre.
The ‘Macedonian Marvel’ said he was pleased to pull on the boots again to support the cause.
“It has been a while but I am very much looking forward to taking on two of the game’s great (and cheekiest) goal sneaks, all for the important purpose of raising money for prostate cancer at the upcoming Legends Game,” Daicos said.
“I am looking forward to seeing everyone there on the night.”
For three-time premiership player and Norm Smith Medallist ‘Stevie J’ this is a childhood dream come true.
“I learnt a lot of my tricks from my idol, Peter Daicos, so I can’t wait to teach him a few of my own,” Johnson quipped.
Tickets for next week’s Four’N Twenty Legends Game for Prostate Cancer are still available via legendsgame.com.au.
