Former Kangaroo allegedly caught in possession of illicit substances
Former North Melbourne player Tarryn Thomas has allegedly been caught in possession of illicit substances.
According to Seven’s Mitch Cleary, the 25-year-old, alongside a 24-year-old, were spotted parked in a no-standing zone in the early hours of Saturday the 3rd of May, with a search conducted allegedly finding illicit drugs.
As confirmed in a Victoria Police statement, the pair are expected to be charged on summons.
Speaking on Channel Seven, Cleary had this to say on the alleged incident.
“Tarryn Thomas and another man were allegedly caught in possession of drugs and deal bags in the CBD of Melbourne,” he said on Sunday Footy Feast.
“In a statement to 7NEWS, police have confirmed a 24-year-old Thomastown man and a 25-year-old Ormond man are both expected to be charged on summons.
“This came after a Lamborghini that both males were in, were spotted in a no-standing zone.
“Officers then executed a search on that vehicle where they found the drugs and the deal bags.”
