Dwayne Russell's pressure meter heading into Round 5, 2025
SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the five teams under the most pressure heading into Round 5.
Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.
Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.

1 – Carltonvs West Coast – Adelaide Oval – Saturday
“I’ve actually got Carlton number one.
“Huge game for the Blues against the West Coast Eagles. The Blues I think can get their season back on track, but if they lose to the Eagles to start zero and five, then its almost an impossible road back from there.
"I think the Blues will beat the Eagles but in terms of the fallout, the biggest fallout for any team if they lose this weekend, it's Carlton."
2 - Melbournevs Essendon - Adelaide Oval – Saturday
“I’ve got Melbourne two.
“Carlton zero and four, Melbourne likewise.
"Melbourne have a very beatable team (in Essendon). The Bombers beat the Demons, same as I said about Carlton, it's going to be a huge fallout for Melbourne."
3 – Port Adelaidevs Hawthorn - Adelaide Oval – Sunday
“I’ve got Port at three. The whole changeover deal between Ken Hinkley and Josh Carr is at the moment getting the magnifying glass turned on it.
"It's getting a bit hot right now so huge game for Port Adelaide."
4 - North Melbournevs Gold Coast – Barossa Park – Saturday
“I have actually got North Melbourne at four.
"There is a few that are of the belief that North Melbourne should have done better this season so far.
"It's neutral territory, the Gold Coast Suns are notorious bad travellers, they have been pretty good this year, undefeated and third on the ladder.
"This is a huge game for North Melbourne in the Barossa."
5 – Hawthornvs Port Adelaide - Adelaide Oval – Sunday
“I have actually got Hawthorn as my five.
"I think Hawthorn, given the hype, given how much has been said, given how much most Hawthorn supporters have been vocal this year and talked about being in the flag equation, and given how much they've talked the talk playing against Port Adelaide this weekend.
"They wouldn't want to get beaten this weekend, in fact if Hawthorn get beaten I reckon there will be a lot of fans that don't barrack for Hawthorn that would be pretty happy about it."
