With the Coates Talent League season nearing its conclusion, Round 18 saw some very impressive performances from many potential draftees.
Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves was the round's best performer accumulating 30 possessions and kicking five goals. This may be the best individual performance the CTL has seen this season from the Dandenong Stingrays talent.
Potential top 10 pick Thomas Burton also went crazy. The Western Jets and AFL Academy midfielder managed 31 disposals, 11 inside 50s, five tackles, and a goal. Burton has been touted as one of 2025’s best midfield prospects and this performance shows why he's rated so highly.
Another potential top 10 pick, Oliver Greeves, had a best-on-ground performance as well. The 191cm midfielder from the Eastern Ranges racked up 28 disposals, six marks, and booted a goal.
Carlton NGA prospect, Jack Ison, from the Oakleigh Chargers had another impressive performance, kicking two goals whilst accumulating 22 disposals. After a solid National Championships carnival, the Blues could have another young gun on their hands here.
Calder Cannons and Essendon NGA duo Hussein El Achkar and Adam Sweid also dominated in their small forward roles. El Achkar booted three goals from 14 disposals, while Sweid kicked two from 16 touches.
