“AFL Rodman”: Rory Lobb set to stir up Freo fans with new wild look
Western Bulldogs defender Rory Lobb has a new wild look for the club’s Round 4 game against Fremantle on Sunday.
After dyeing his hair blue for the Dogs’ 100th anniversary game against Collingwood in Round 2, Lobb’s hair art has gone to a new level with the 32-year-old getting a red lobster design on the back of his head.
The hairstyle references Lobb’s nickname ‘The Lobbster’, and there’s no shock he’s brought it out for the clash against his former side Fremantle.
After leaving the Dockers at the end of 2022, WA’s Dingo Brewery brought out a batch of ‘Lobster Tears’ beers as Freo fans took aim at the tall ahead of his first game out west in 2023.
Round 4 will be the third time he’s faced Freo in Perth for his third club and SEN’s Peter Vlahos expects the AFL’s version of Dennis Rodman to get plenty of attention from Dockers fans at Optus Stadium.

“This is going to be laughable, Western Bulldogs player Rory Lobb has got a latest wild look,” Vlahos told SEN's Sportsday WA.
“He dyed his hair blue for the Bulldogs’ 100th V/AFL anniversary game in Round 2.
“But he’s now posted on social media to show off his new design for the club's big clash with his former team Fremantle here on Sunday.
“He is calling it ‘hair art’ and he’s transformed his head. It’s been bleached and transformed into a red lobster.
“Now, I'm not sure the AFL world is ready for an AFL Rodman, but all of a sudden (we have one).
“I don't know what's got into Rory Lobb, for those people that are coming to the game on Sunday, you'll see him with bleached white hair and a lobster painted on his head.
“Rory, Rory. What's between those ears?”
