Collingwood skipper in doubt for season opener as calf concern deepens

Collingwood captain Darcy Moore is in doubt for Opening Round as reports suggest his pre-season calf concern has worsened.
Initially reported by Josh Gabelich, Moore suffered a minor calf strain a matter of weeks ago, with scans sidelineing the skipper for a fortnight.
Now, as reported by 9news' Owen Leonard, Moore's calf has not made the necessary improvements to warrant a return to training.
The report suggests that Moore could face another three to five weeks off the park, placing him in jeopardy of missing Collingwood's season opener against St Kilda.
More to come.
