Man arrested over threatening messages directed at Crow pair
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in South Australia after a three-month investigation into threatening messages allegedly sent to a pair of Adelaide Crows players.
Reports indicate that "direct and significant" threats were sent to the players via social media on September 8th, with the police making an arrest on Monday following a "lengthy investigation".
As released by police, "the victim reported the matter to police."
"Adelaide can confirm two of its players were subject to direct and significant threats on a social media platform," the club said in a statement.
"Subsequently, reports were made to South Australia Police in September which prompted investigations.
"Both players have been provided with the necessary and ongoing support."
The club has not stated which players were victim to the messages.
