Max Gawn has won the Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott Memorial Trophy as Melbourne’s best and fairest for 2025.
The Demons captain, who was named All-Australian for an eighth time, claimed his third B&F by polling 592 votes to finish comfortably clear on top.
Gawn joins a list of just eight Demons who have won three or more best and fairest awards, just behind fellow ruck great Jim Stynes (four) and Allan La Fontaine (four), and alongside current teammate Clayton Oliver (three) and former skipper Nathan Jones (three).
Established star Christian Petracca (479) was runner-up, emerging star Kysaiah Pickett (467) finished third while improved defender Jake Bowey (459) and rebounding backman Christian Salem (404) rounded out the top five.
First-year gun Harvey Langford, Pick 6 in last year’s draft, finished ninth to cap off an impressive debut campaign.
Langford was named the club’s Best Young Player, picking up the Harold Ball Memorial Trophy. He is one of the main contenders for the Rising Star.
Other award winners on the night included Jake Melksham who won the James McDonald Trophy as the Trademark Player, Tom Campbell who won the Club Ambassador Award, Kade Chandler who won the Ron Barassi Jnr Memorial Trophy for leadership and Daniel Turner who won the Coaches Award.
