Three straight: Caleb Serong makes Fremantle history
Caleb Serong has reached elite heights at the Fremantle Dockers, claiming his third straight best and fairest at just 24 years of age.
Yet another top season from the midfielder marks Fremantle history, becoming just the second player behind Matthew Pavlich to win three straight Doig Medals.
Averaging 27 disposals, five tackles and a career-high eight clearances per game, Serong cleaned up in 2025, claiming a record-equalling fourth Glendinning-Allan Medal, an All-Australian blazer and the club best and fairest, tying legend Nat Fyfe with three Doig Medals, second only to Matthew Pavlich’s four.

"(3 in a row) They’re all as incredible and precious as any other," Serong said.
"I won’t sit back and reflect but it’s something I’ll do post-career.
"Something I value is consistency and being able to do it week in week out is something I’m really proud of.
"Thanks Joel Corey (mids coach), he’s the guy who’s taught me so much.
"I wouldn’t be anywhere near the player I am without his support.
"(Fremantle is) a special place to come to work."
Midfield partner Andrew Brayshaw finished in second place, while key forward Josh Treacy claimed the final podium place.
