Key Hawk to miss do-or-die semi final
Promising Hawthorn forward Calsher Dear has been ruled out of his side's semi-final with a low-grade hamstring.

As reported by Channel 9 journalist and SEN regular Tom Morris, Dear pulled up with hamstring awareness during the Hawks' 19-point Elimination Final win over GWS, with the 20-year-old substituted from the contest in the third term.
Scans today revealed the extent of the hamstring damage, with Dear to miss at least one week and forcing him out of Hawthorn's Friday night semi-final clash with Adelaide.
The Hawks have depth in their favour, with key forward Mitch Lewis likely to step in in Dear's absence.
