Luckless Bulldogs signs on for 2026

Western Bulldogs veteran Adam Treloar has put pen to paper at the Kennel, signing on for a further year.
Having featured in just four games in 2025, Treloar battled with a range of injury concerns across the entire season, a stark contrast from his All-Australian year in 2024.
Approaching the end of his contract, the luckless star simply wasn’t able to prove his ability to carry on as a result of his repeat injuries, leaving his future with the Dogs and in the game completely up in the air.
As reported by AFL.com.au's Callum Twomey, despite his troubles across the season, Treloar and the Dogs have agreed to a one-year extension, providing the 32-year-old with an opportunity to return to the consistent top-level football he has proven he can achieve.
Within his three full games in 2025, Treloar averaged 25 disposals and three clearances a game, and is now set to feature in his sixth season for the Western Bulldogs in 2026.
